Deception Pass Hike with Judy Bentley

Join Judy Bentley for this moderate hike of Deception Pass, the state’s most popular state park. Hikers in Deception Pass will experience the Samish, maritime, Civilian Conservation Corps and fishing history of the region; Guild member Karen Borell will talk about the bridge and fish traps. We will hike up to five miles roundtrip, with moderate elevation gain, from Rosario Beach, past Bowman Bay, to Lighthouse Point, and back. Plan for an early start to beat the parking rush. Carpooling is possible from Northgate Transit Center. Bring a lunch but no dogs. More meetup specifics will be sent to ticket purchasers. Limit of 15 participants.
